In this intensive onsite training, K-8 teachers will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework and will learn practical intervention strategies based on data-driven decision making. Those who complete the RTI Implementation process can then take the lead in implementing RTI processes and practices in their school and/or district.

Participants Will
- Understand the purpose and origin of RTI
- Learn the key components of RTI
- Review DI strategies and their relationship to RTI
- Apply Data based instructional decisions in a variety of application activities
- Learn various intervention strategies for literacy, math and behavior
- Recognize the differences between the RTI Problem Solving Model and the RTI Standard Treatment Protocol Model and apply their new knowledge in various activities
- Learn new collaboration and teamwork techniques in an RTI environment
- Plan for RTI Implementation in their school/district using a structured planning tool and collaboration with teams within the workshop
