Karen Haag

Karen has taught grades 2 through college in New York, Ohio and North Carolina, and has worked as a literacy coach for many years. As co-director of the Teacher Research Institute of the UNC Charlotte Writing Project, she oversees the Teacher Research and Presenters Collaborative. Her workshops are popular because she combines theory with practice and shares her work with participants through videotapes.
